I’m a Follower of Christ…Wife… Mid-life Mom…… Preacher Girl… KidPastor…Daughter… Aunt… Sister…Friend…Child of God. I’ll talk about all these things, randomly, with no warning PLUS:
- My Goldendoodles: You might get sick of seeing the cuteness of my two littlest but hey, it is what it is.
- Special Needs Issues for Children: This is a big part of my parenting and pastoring life. My focus is often on invisible challenges, as that is what we live with.
- FASD: a preventable spectrum of challenges for children exposed to alcohol before birth. I’m an advocate for research and prevention/awareness. I’m also an advocate against the stigma that many feel when this diagnoses comes up.
- Adoption, and especially Open Adoption, the option through which both our kids joined our family. We consider the first mothers of our children VERY real and honor their decision on how their children would be parented. They are a huge part of our family.
- Infertility & Miscarriage: Maybe this will come up. Maybe it won’t. I reserve the right to talk about it.
- Chronic Illness, and Living with It. Yes, it exists even you can’t see it.
- Getting healthy… #ASTRONGERME
SO yeah, basically what goes on, and what I want to talk about. Fun huh?
